Wrong. Ron Paul has specifically supported and stated that government's job is to protect the property and privacy of its citizens and actively opposes any measure which threaten that, like FISA, The Patriot Act, and the Military Commissions Act. The departments he wants to close are the departments that oppress the people and their freedoms. Many of which Nader also wants reigned in or eliminated like Homeland Security, the Federal Reserve, I could go on and on.

for those wanting to know. target center was sold out. it started late because they had to open up more seats due to the flood of people. there was also a constant flow of people outside. it was great. on the other side of the river it was a completely different atmosphere. i sum it up to this. on our side of the river we had hope. on the other side of the river there was very little to none. i'm proud to be part of the ron paul revolution. he is truly a hero.

A once in a lifetime event I will remember FOREVER...my hero...our leader...our mentor our friend...saw him 6 times in 3 days, got my picture taken with him... I don't know if others experienced it, but Ron has like a magnetic aura around him of such that touching his shoulder gave me goose bumps...like those holy ghost shivers... He is a person I would welcome into my home and serve him up my best dinner... He is humble and gentle and so much more. Our country is lucky to have him!!!

The American people or the opposite of that....the American government? Many Americans disagree with the way our government is run but it is so out of control that many people feel helpless and small when compared to the political process. Civil liberties and peace are a good thing, right? That is actually what the American mindset was when our country started. I hope you halt the stereotyping, there are many different people in America and we are trying to make a difference. Vote liberty!

I don't buy all of what you listed above, but I certainly feel that much/most of it is a viable threat, if for no other reason than it has happened in the past.... and I recall something about reapeating it.... But anywho, give up trying to bring the sheep to seeing the truth. Find people who are logical and open minded enough to see the obvious and open their eyes, don't waste your time on people who take the TV as the word of God.
