This has been a problem for generations with all genres of music. To stay real to yourself or to appeal to the masses. You can't really fault an artist for trying to make to money not music with feeling. I'm from southwest houston and down here we anit really feeling lil wayne or no main stream artists. The problem is now our underground artists are starting to do collaborations with these shit arist and not making good music anymore. 90% of the music I listen to comes out of Houston.

now thats the thing soulja boy dosnt claim to be an amazing rapper. he knows his lyrics arent amazing. he kinda started a new genre of dance music, its not hiphop. i have mad respect for soulja boy. for what he did for youtube, and what he made possible for independent artist or better yet teenagers who have big dreams. im a dancer, i love to dance and soulja boy made me dance, and gave me a chance for the spotlight, and have a good time with my friends.
