The washes are a God send for Rebel Grots. Just snakebite leather base, then layer on 3:1 snakebite to white, then ":1 snakebite and white, then 1:1 snakebite to white, then 2 washes of thraka and then a devlan mud, and you have natural looking Battle Sister Grots! The tharka green over white is looking really good as well, only thing is it shows up those mould lines :P

That very much depends on the paint. In general a Black undercoat is better for darker colours while White is better for lighter colours. Try painting a dark blue on white primer and it will do the same thing as yellow paint on a black primer. White lends itself better to a bright, vibrant look while black gets you a much grittier, dark look both of which have their place.

i'll do a pinnin vid for ya, nice loota with the cigar. i've made three kommandos just out of spare bitz one with two knife choppas, one with a burna and one with a big shoota. i did a test with some of my old warhammer fantsy model i droped a guy by acident and it landed on the base so i droped loads and found out that most empire handguners land on there base's anyway you rock keep it up

good idea with the geo -mags !!! i dropped mine and the propellors and stand broke off. if you break the geo-mags open they have tiny strong magnets in them that you can put on the propellors so they dont break also.

Remember da rivitz! The plank on the tank wheels wouldn't really work as they would rotate and rip it apart. I was hinkin you could turn the tank into a ruzzbot. If it isn't wide enough for a battlewagon, make it taller! You could do like a seige tower battlewagon but keeping the tank still obvious. Great table btw.

Nice tut, simple and quite effective from tabletop range. You're right about the green being a hard clour. The Eavy Metal team told me that you shade it with red, and it also says that in the how to paint citadel minis book. They also told me to undercoat with a 1:1 of scorched brown and chaos black, as the brown gives a richer colour for reds to start from, and a more natural look for greens.

The only suckish thing is the terminators are altogether about 1/2 a mm too small, they still are compatible with the old ones, except the bodies stick out slightly so yo have to file them down a bit. I'm gonna make a sicarius from the Captain cos I've got the old Sicarius from 2006, and now they've made rules not compatible with the old mini. Great! I can't get any more warhammer until I build more of it, and the first model I get after will be one of the biggest resin models there is... :D

gunner pig bone is better painted by basing a brown, then using bleached bone, then highlighting white. plus it doesnt look rushed man, it looks great

warbosses skin is good for jungle type but the reast just looks rushed... you should do teeth snake bite leather and then dry brush mix of snake bite leather and skull white

wat should i get next for my ork army. i sorta want an ork army that has equel amounts of firepower (or dakka as the orks call it) and close combat guys. i was thinking something along the lines of a squad of kommandos, a deff dread or another squad of lootas. wat do u think?

thnx, is it made mostly out of cardboard and bulsor wood? thats just a guess. wat would be the best materials to make some ork terrain. i was thinking something like foam core, bulsor wood and cardboard. p.s. in case u don't know wat bulsor wood is (even though u would probably already know) but it's like wood but it's really lite and easy to cut
