And that's fine. It only affect u if u let it, really. Seemed like it affected The Atheist a lot, you can tell by his tone of voice and choice of crude language which is really unnecessary. I like thought-provoking & artistic films, but Twilight wasn't made for your taste or mine, it was made & marketed to teen girls. Why read so much into it? (that's 1 thing U forgot to mention: humans tend to make the simplest things more complicated than they are.) It's not the best film that's out, but if teens enjoy it, what's the big deal? It's a sappy teen love flick, let them enjoy it. Hooray for them. U liked the other one? Hooray for you! Perhaps the teens aren't ready for such films.

It is wrong to believe we are all truly equal and that we were all born into similar environments with similar backgrounds, similar parents, similar interests, etc etc. People can believe what they want, and they are valid in their choices. We can make choices, therefore, we are human. That does not mean a work of art is not stagnant, repetitive, over-done, or mediocre. That comes from the inabilities of the creator of that work, and w/o proper double exposure, who are you to say otherwise.

I have a little sister myself and yeah girls act as if this is the first ever romance to take place on the big screen, it creates room for mind numbing fan girls to scream there hearts out and be viewed in a brainless manner.
