That's because this was - literally - the first time the "Bisu Build" (being, of course, Forge-Fast-Expand into Corsair/DT) was seen. Bisu kept it a secret all the way up through the earlier stages of the tournament, because he knew he'd need it in order to beat Savior and didn't want Savior to know what was coming. Hence the commentators being even crazier than a normal final.

Sometimes I wonder how two great players like Bisu and Savior are just not playing well nowadays. What happens to cause certain progamers to seem to decrease in their playing ability all of a sudden, you would expect them to continuously retain their abilities.

sc is like the olympics, you only get a few years to shine, then someone comes along and takes the spotlight. savior is still one of best players even after his slump.

man savior was never the same player after this series. this series basically marked the end of saviors era. he never recovered to the pre bisu form after this.

Actually that wasn't that early of an expo. In pvz if the Z FE it sorta forces the P to FE too. Cause a two gate push won't work agianst pros.

one of the most amazing games i have ever seen few comments: (1)i was surprised at protoss' VERY early expansion, i actually thot that would cost him, but in the end he came out on top! (2)protoss dark templar rush was GREAT! very smart playing especially causing a diversion with a small party to move enemy forces away from the base THEN using the dark templar to safely attack drones and important buildings (3)more than kudos to these two men, they played very well in this game
