Its nice to see bollywood stuff in sytycd..but um..the way the guy is dancing is considered quite girlish in India..so I'm not sure why they had him dance that way. If you'd like to see how the dance went in the original, look up "Dhoom Tana" here on youtube.

In my opinion, there are 2 main differences between lyrical and contemporary. #1-Lyrical is more ballet heavy with a modern flare Contemporary is more modern heavy with a ballet based technique often necessary. #2- With lyrical you're interpreting the words of the song through the dance, contemporary doesn't necessarily need to interpret the words, it can interpret the feeling moreso than the words.

I wished they performed this on tour.. but I guess that would be overworking these two since they had about 6-8 performances already.. not to mention that Katee got injured and did not perform in the Group Bollywood (therefore Kherington took her spot as the one getting lifted at the end) and the Group Contemporary.. Katee's devotion and emotional involvement in the dance is splendid and exquisite. Look at 0:33 when she twitched her face as if she was struck by real obstacle in her face, and look at 0:53 when she rolled her head to look at Josh.. I can immediately feel that poignancy in her expression. That moment alone was enough for me to look at Katee's performance in a different light. It is always honest, as Nigel always commended her, and nothing is more beautiful than that. I will always miss Katee.

Katee's just flawless in this dance. Look at the control of her body when Josh holds her. She floats like a piece of paper flying in the air and then suddenly she muster all the tension, followed with a dramatic breaking loose. It was magical. Impossibly beautiful. Katee is simply the best dancer EVER in SYTYCD.

I think it's so beautiful, I was so looking forward to see how they'd dance to that beautiful song by Celine, and I wasn't disappointed. I personally belive that being trained in a certain sytle disadvantages you, becuase u have learnt a certain technique for that genre of dance, making it harder to adapt to others. I reckon this routine was excellent, but i hate the fact that they always seem to overshadow katee coz she has had training. Joshua in fact has had training in his early life just ike katee. N honestly, it pissess me off that they pracitcally do that with every dance they do, mentioning how unbelievable it is that josh is able to do all that stuff without training. Well katee is only a contemporary dancer, so its unbelievable that she has performed all her routnines fantastically.

No word of a lie... this is the sexiest dance I think I've ever seen... I'm not a fan of Katee (not to say she's not fabulous, I just have jealousy issues 'cause she got to dance with my Josh...), but she is gorgeous in that dress. Her legs are flawless.
