I had to agree with the playlists with you. When I first got into Semi's Bleach series, it was hard for me to follow which was the first episode. But now that's finally cleared up and he's got the episode's in the right order now. BTW, that's the Union Jack flag (UK), not the St. George flag (England). Sorry for being a nit picker.

Nice review..I like Holly!! And well...to tell the truth, I didn't exactly miss Minerva (I totally forgot she existed because its been really long since I read the last one). I was pretty shocked with the kiss etc (in a good way) and would prefer if Holly & Artemis hook up...but well...we'll have to see what Eoin does in the next one. Great review, I'll sub. You mentioned the book not mentioning Minerva. The book takes place over only one day in real time and only four when you take in the time travel, so it is conceivable that during the confusion no one thought about her. And bringing Opal back was a cop out. Eoin could have come up with a new character. All that considered, I too think it is the best in the series next to the original.

Man, I hated Twilight so much that I didn't even bother reading the rest of the books, and the only reason I managed to get through the whole Twilight book was because it was a four hour car ride. The characters were shallow, they made my favorite state seem awful, there was too much drama, no action, repetiveness, long dragged out conversations, etc. I can't possibly see how it's so popular in my school that if I even say anything against it everyone hates me and gasps and asks always asks why.

I also think all of you will be so happy you learned what you did in this book when Empire comes out... Now don't get me wrong, those Saphira chapters were ridiculous... and if you're going to do Arcs they should be developed wisely and should have meaning. And the battle at the end... it's only merit was Glaedr and Oromis' demise and the small action that Arya gave Eragon. That little shade bit was just embarrasing... but I believe it had importance due to Eragon's interest in spirits.

You had very valid points. I still think you failed to grasp the point of the third book. The ending of this series will be more epic than the first two books combined and because of that, I can completely tolerate (while I agree, a little unnecesary) the build up he is attempting for Empire. I don't think Paolini was just trying to lengthen his book by adding the different arcs, I think he genuinely cares for and is interested in developing certain characters.

But I kind of found the thing with Saphira funny and I liked the climax of him making a sword, But i totally agree that he just could have had a third book, I hope the next one is better.
