... I hate that I just found out that my camera records in quicktime and my camera cant go that far with macro... well when when I find a magnifying glass I'll just add the numbers to a picture until then if you find the number for the amp that would be easyer

awesome HD is awesome that and macro mode should show up some numbers on the chips very well and if youtube compresses the hell out of the video you can always send me the raw video file b4 you upload it to youtube

does your camera have a macro mode on it if so use that to get some really close shots of the numbers then ill look each one up on google and see which one is the amp, actually if im lucky i may get a wiimote from my friend they r rough on stuff and if they get a new one and i get the old one ill hack it, i want to use that cool ass speaker look up wiimote speaker on youtube

im not sure, i would need to see the little numbers on the chips so i can look up the numbers, and i would actually need a wiimote to experiment with but i dont feel like forking over 34 bucks for one just to hack it, and if its one big chip then it cant be hacked b/c the amp is probably built into the chip, but i saw some other wiimote hack videos and i saw multiple 8 pin surface mount chips, possibly one of those is the audio amp

well its gonna be mono anyway but im just saying that if you did that it would be luder but i dont think theres a way to control the amp like to turn it on or off, i dont even know which chip the amp is as i dont have a wiimote to hack and im not spending 40 bucks just to hack a wiimote

yeah the mini audio amp that powers the wiimote speaker but you would need to first find which chip is the amp and then get the pinout then youll need to rig in the line input to the amp to convert the stereo from your ipod to the mono amp
